Our partner of the month for August is JLB Transport. We caught up with Jerry to chat with him about how the company got started and what keeps them trucking.
We started in 2002. I enjoy running our trucks and we focus on pulling for reputable brokers: 2 Peterbilts and a Freight liner.
In 2002.
Keeping good drivers that you can trust and rely on. Also, finding guys that will take care of the business at hand and are professional. It’s important to let the drivers know that they are the greatest asset that a trucking company has.
Take your time and be smart with the loads that you take. Focus on the end of the week gross rate and learn from hands-on experience. In time you will learn that it’s not how many miles you run, it’s the quality of freight you pull.
Think ahead to the next day. I’m a family-oriented guy, and for my family, I try to run a productive trucking company. Family first, work second. I give it 100% on the job 7:30 – 5 for my family.
I can’t say enough about Pay4Freight. Over the years with different businesses, I’ve had experiences with many other companies and Pay4Freight stands out as the best. I am 110% satisfied and can’t remember one issue I’ve had with getting funded with Pay4Freight.
